October 11, 2019 / 770 Welsh Rd. Gloria Dei Towers: A multiple alarm fire occurred this evening with a report of heavy fire in an 4th floor apartment. Additional units from various townships were dispatched to assist with the fire as well as the evacuation of residents in the complex. Despite heavy smoke conditions on numerous floors along with some residents in wheel chairs, Firefighters, Police and Rescue Personnel crews evacuated all residents quickly without incident. Fire Police redirected traffic as Welsh Rd. was closed off at Terwood & beyond Carson Terrace. Cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
