The Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company is looking for community members who are ready to make a difference, serve the community, and keep Upper Moreland and the surrounding communities safe. Membership with WGVFC is voluntary and there are many options available to choose from to get started.

Membership Types
Active Firefighter (Ages 18+)
Reserves (Active firefighter from a separate station)

Active Firefighter
In order to be an active firefighter with WGVFC, candidates must complete a six-month probation period and begin Firefighter 1(FF1) training. During your probation period, you will receive WGVFC specific training around procedures, best practices, riding the apparatus, and the foundational elements to prepare you to be a full-fledged firefighter.
Reserve Firefighters
Reserve Firefighters who are active Firefighters in another township are allowed limited membership in the WGVFC and may respond to calls as part of the team. Reserve firefighters must be able to meet the requirements as agreed upon with the Chief and WGVFC board and can safely and quickly respond to fire calls while within the Upper Moreland service area.
